Membership Tips:

• Advertise in DNR publications.
• Publicize events open to the public through the DNR Web site. Consult your property manager.
• Use paper/electronic newsletters (place membership forms in all publications)
• Put ad inserts in local papers.
• Give envelopes to staff at the property to offer to hikers/campers who express interest in the park.
• Buy park stickers and sell them for discounted rates along with a membership.
• Offer gifts with memberships/donations. This can be stickers, mugs, pencils, park stickers, patches, vests, t-shirts, fact sheets on an interesting topic (animals, plants, history of the park etc.), glossy (hiking, biking) maps, scenic drive booklets of the park, workshops, classes, free guided hikes, free admission at events.
