The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks have published a Passport to Wisconsin State Parks to promote interest and visitation of all of our state parks.  This Program offers a wonderful way for us to celebrate the State Parkswhile encouraging increased tourism.  The passport program provides direct benefits to Wisconsin State Parks, and provides visitors with a way to record their visits with a rubber stamp from each park.

The passports describe the various activities available at each park, along with containing a map, photo and contact information for each park.  Also included is useful general information about fees, reservations, regulations and Friends Groups within the State Parks system.

Visitors may chronicle their visits by "officially" validating their passports using specially designed rubber stamps.  Visitors with a passport will get their book stamped with rubber stamp to be provided by each park.  The location of the stamping (staffed or self-serve) is determined by the circumstances of each property, but are accessible to visitors during normal hours of visitation.  Those properties with no appropriate visitor facilities have a page in the passport and a space for a stamp, but no stamp available.  Instead of "Official Cancellations" the caption is "Personal Cancellations" indicating that the visitor can record his or her own visit.

Passports cost $15 retail and $10 wholesale, including tax, and are available from the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks, participating friends of individual state parks, and participating state parks.  Order forms are available at all state parks, trails, forests, andrecreation areas.  Proceeds from the passport program help preserve, protect and interpret Wisconsin State Parks' resources.
